Beaminster’s businesses pulled together to plug the town’s attractions and raise money for charity.
Beaminster ladies’ fashion boutique Djuna showcased their autumn/winter collection in association with Salon on the Square.
The show was hosted by The Red Lion and drinks were served as part of the ticket price.
Described as well attended, the event included presentations from fashion collections that showcased occasion wear from Frank Lyman and casual, country and day wear from Joules.
Other designers included Braintree, Pomodoro, Nougat, Amazing Woman Jeans and Pretty Dress Company plus many others.
The models’ hair was expertly styled by Paul, Creative Director from Salon on the Square, to complement the outfits and the mood.
Djuna’s owners Lesley and Annabel opened the shop after the show when many of the guests took the opportunity to spend their complimentary discounted vouchers.
Lesley said: “We are now looking forward to our next event when we will be showing our exciting new collections.”
Helen, the owner of Salon on the Square, said: “It provided a good opportunity to promote local businesses as well as raising money for an excellent cause”.
The evening raised £260 for Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
